Jose Mourinho’s reign at Real Madrid was already reported to be as strict as ever at his new club where the Portuguese has plans to take over the world along with club chairman Florentino Pérez.

The disappointing season of Real Madrid last year was mainly blamed on the manager and the players who just did not play the beautiful game as a champion would.
Their football consisted only of one man superstars all trying to prove a point, after all, the world’s most expensive player, Cristiano Ronaldo, was at the Santiago Bernabéu.
However, now they have a superstar manager themselves, and he is not having any of that.
Who says managers do not win championships and European cups, Mourinho or “The Special One” is certainly getting his Los Galácticos into the championship mood.
Mourinho started to turn things around from the second he went over to the Real Madrid outfit, he banned players from leaving the training ground in the afternoon and said he expected all the players be a maximum of 20 minutes in distance from the training grounds.
Players were to eat breakfast, and lunch at the training grounds where they could bond and be together, like a family.
Meanwhile the training and busy periods for the Galácticos lead by a Galactican is already starting to pay off.
Real Madrids last friendly against LA Galaxy was a signal of the change at Real Madrid, after falling behind 2-0 against the US giants, the Spanish side managed to win the game 3-2.
Now though the score line may not look like much from going 2-0 down Mourinho’s side showed the character and composure which will make his side title contenders and European Cup contenders.
LA Galaxy took the lead on the 40th minute through Todd Dunivant and then made it 2-0 just five minutes later through a penalty by Landon Donovan.
But to be fair, by then Real Madrid’s main players were not on field.
By the start of the second half, the Spanish giants had substituted eight players and more of the superstars were on and it showed. Where in the first half LA Galaxy had dominated the second half was all Real.
In front of 89,134 spectators who were largely cheering on the US side, Los Galacticos put the gears up and Argentinian superstar Gonzalo Higuain scored twice on the 51st and 61st minute to make the game level.
By now Real were attacking left right and centre and the winner came on the 71st minute when last season’s superstar transfer from Liverpool, Xabi Alonso chipped the ball over the goalkeeper with a slick finish.
At the end of the game Real’s fierce attack showed with 12 shots on target compared to LA Galaxy’s one in the second half.
I am sure Real Madrid will do much better for next season then they did last and get some silverware but let’s just see if the La Liga giants arch rivals Barcelona can put up with the pace. Or would it be Real who is going to be trailing.
All will be known in due time.
