Jennifer Lawrence is pregnant

The child’s father is Cooke Maroney (40). The gallery owner has been married to Lawrence since October 2019. In February 2022, the couple welcomed their first child, a son named Cy.

“Fortunately, my husband is the greatest father in the world. When I work, I don’t feel any more guilty than the usual, daily parental guilt,” she raved – and joked – in “Interview Magazine”.

Jennifer Lawrence wants to protect her babies

When it comes to her children, the 34-year-old is keen on privacy. She has never published an official photo of her son Cy.

In an interview with Vanity Fair in 2021, she admitted: “If I was at a dinner party and someone said, ‘Oh my God, you’re expecting a baby,’ I wouldn’t say, ‘God, I can’t talk about that. Get away from me, you psycho!'” But, she continued on the subject of children: “Every instinct in my body wants to protect her privacy for the rest of her life as best I can.”

But the proud mother can’t keep baby information to herself.

In an earlier interview, Lawrence told Vogue that “the morning after the birth (of Cy, ed.) I felt like my whole life had started all over again.” She gushed: “I just stared. I was just so in love.”

However, the 34-year-old does not show her son in public. Before the birth, she explained to the US magazine “Vanity Fair” in 2021 that although she could speak openly about her pregnancy on private occasions, she would do everything she could to protect her children’s privacy.

Half a year after the birth, she told “Vogue” that she felt like her “whole life had started over”. “I just stared, I was so in love. I love all the other babies now too. Newborns are just so great.”
