Italy abolishes Corona entry rules
Italy will abolish its corona entry rules at the end of the month. With the expiry of the previous regulation, it will no longer be necessary to prove a corona vaccination, recovery or a negative test upon entry, as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Rome explained on Monday.
Italy was the first European country to be hit by the coronavirus in early 2020. In the course of the pandemic, it imposed some of the strictest corona requirements.
For example, all workers at the workplace had to present a corona vaccination, recovery or a negative test. Most of the corona measures have now been lifted as the vaccination campaign progressed. Protective masks are only mandatory in schools and on public transport.
