Israeli warplanes carried out four airstrikes on the Dahiye area in southern Beirut, Lebanon’s capital, during the early hours. According to Lebanon’s official news agency NNA, the strikes targeted the neighborhoods of Haret Hreik, Bi’rul Abd, Laylaki, and Ghobeiry.
The area, known as a Hezbollah stronghold, witnessed heavy explosions followed by rising smoke. NNA reported that the Dar al-Hawra Medical Center in Haret Hreik was also targeted in the airstrikes.
These attacks occurred shortly after Israeli Army Spokesperson Avichay Adraee issued an evacuation warning on social media, marking a location in Haret Hreik. This was soon followed by another warning targeting a specific site in the Laylaki neighborhood.
