Is Paul Robinson From Blackburn Will be Transferred to Besiktas ?

According by Turkish newspaper – Beşiktaş are close to agreeing a deal with Blackburn Rovers over goalkeeper Paul Robinson.

The former England International has a year left on his contract however, is unlikely to remain with The Rovers next season following the clubs relegation from the Premiership.  Beşiktaş are looking to replace veteran keeper Rüştü Reçber who announced his retirement and Cenk Gönen who has been inconsistent.

Robinson joined The Rovers from Tottenham Hotspur for €4.4 million in 2008. The 1.93m tall goalkeeper has played 150 games for the Lancashire based club over the past four seasons.

Beşiktaş is estimated to be in debt to tune of €200 million, Chairman Fikret Orman has made his priority to resolve the current situation and create a more sustainable future.
