Turkey, KIRIKKALE –A huge forest fire burnt nearly 5,000,000 Square meters of forest and field in the Central Turkish city of Kirikkale. 20,000 squares oak fields were also totally burnt.
Firefighters and locals try and battle the flames in central Turkey
According the local authorities the fire was started by a local farmer when he was burning the field’s stubble.
Firefighters are currently trying to keep the blazes under control as meteorology reports have indicated that the weather will get warmer during the weekend.
Thousands of birds and other wildlife have either lost their lives or living grounds.
