If you like movies then there is no chance that you have not heard of the The Expendables which was written, directed and also stars 80,s and 90’s action hero Sylvester Stallone.

Well how can you blame movie fans, lets see we have Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, Steve Austin, Eric Roberts, Mickey Rourke, Danny Trejo and cameo roles for Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

OK, well if you were able to read the last paragraph in a single gasp of air then you have achieved a feet that I could not. Well what can I say the cast explains it all.

If you are an 80’s and early 90’s movie fan such as myself then the The Expendables is a movie which you cannot afford to miss. I mean Have you seen the trailer.

Sylvester Stallone was even reported as breaking his neck during a fighting scene with wrestler “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.

It was reported that the 64-year-old actor had to have an operation to a airline fracture and had a metal plate inserted in his neck.

The film is due to be released in August 2010 and action film fans who miss the good old days have been waiting anxiously. It has also been reported that both Wesley Snipes, Mr T and Jean Claude Van Dam turned down roles to play in the movie for some utterly ridiculous reason.

Now to the plot. Who cares, have you seen the trailer!!!!. Here goes, the main plot in the movie is about a group of mercenaries (that will be Sylvester and Co) who are hired to overthrow the ruthless dictator of a South American Country.

The film also has a small role for the late Brittany Murphy. The beautiful actress died on the 20th of December 2009 after a cardiac arrest.
