Gokhan Inler, a Switzerland international with turkish origins, is set to join the southern Italy club Napoli in a deal worth an estimated €20 million.

‘We came to an agreement with Napoli board two weeks ago,” Udinese owner Giampaolo Pozzo stated. ”Before we reached an agreement, we talked with Gokhan and he stated his happiness with the transfer. We wil get a transfer fee around 20 million euros. ”Now Gokhan Inler and Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis have to finalise the financial terms.”

The 26-year-old Gokhan Inler, who was also a reported target of Juventus and turkish champions Fenerbahce, joined Udinese in the summer of 2008 from FC Zurich. Inler scored three goals in 33 league appearances for Udinese to help the Friuli team finish fourth in Serie A and capped a seat for Champions League Qualifiers. The Turkey-Switzerland citizen Gokhan Inler is among the important defensive midfielders in European football.
