First sighted in Ukraine: This is Russia’s “Terminator”

Kremlin supporters celebrate it as a “wonder weapon”: Now the BMPT tank is also to be used in eastern Ukraine, as photos show. The name “Terminator” goes back to a special property.

These shots from Sievjerodonetsk in the Luhansk region are currently causing a stir: Several BMPT-72 tanks roll down the street. The successor to the original “Terminator” armored support vehicle is said to have already been used in Syria. In Ukraine, however, the vehicles had been observed until recently.
