Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 Oslo Norway Capital
Eurovision Song Contest 2010 – The Finals of the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 will take place tomorrow Saturday 20th in Norway’s capital Oslo.
All eyes in Europe will be tuned into the competition with an expected 150 million people from all four corners of the continent watching 25 countries compete to win the much celebrated competition.
The main type of music that is played in one of the longest running competitions in broadcasting history is pop but Rock and folk music is also occasionally played.
The competition is also broadcasted in other countries across the world including Argentina, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, India, Japan, Mexico and many others.
This year’s competition held in Oslo had a few problems with the economic problems causing some country’s to pull out, but there is no doubt that there was no expenses spared by the Norwegians.
Yesterday’s second finalist determined the final 25 country’s which will compete in the much loved competition with Turkey , Azerbaijan, Armenia, Ireland, Germany and Israel as favorites to win.
Azerbaijan is currently in top position in the polls but with political relations greatly effecting the votes by the country’s, the polls can be very misleading from the final results.
Azerbaijan has only been participating in the competition for three years but they have still managed to catch the eye’s of Europe’s song lovers.
Armenia’s Eva Rivas who is accompanied by worldly renowned Armenian duduk-player Jivan Gasparian, is also another favorite in the competition.
Turkey, who are participating with Popular rock band “Manga” managed to turn heads with their lively song and extravagant decorations.
The final will be taking place in Oslo’s Telenor Arena.
