ExpoTurkey 2012 opened on Sunday in Pabexpo displaying items for sanitation, hygiene, cosmetics and parfums, among other, of 38 companies from that country to help the people become acquainted with Turkish products.

Guillermo Garcia Frias, president of Empresa Nacional para la Protección de la Flora y la Fauna (ENPFF), cut the opening ribbon of this event marking the 60th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations.

The firm Giraylar S.A. coordinates the event along the Chamber of Commerce (CCC) from 2011, host of the first edition (Oct. 10-16).

CEO Omer Giray said they started trading with Cuba seven years earlier and exchange to date rounds $90 million.

Among its projects this year, Giraylar S.A is to open in November a Bazaar (on 42nd and 3rd St.) a project with TRD Caribe, its main client from 2009, ahead or parallel to the International Fair of Havana ( FIHAV).

Giraylar S.A. also has business with HeberProt and Labiofam of Cuba.
