10 injured in explosion in Turkey’s Antalya
Ten people were injured on Oct. 25 in an explosion that occurred inside a car in the carpark of the Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry in southern Turkey, the local governor’s office has announced.
The wounded sustained only light injuries from broken glass, it said.
The cause of the explosion, which occurred at about 8:50 a.m., was unclear.
Antalya Mayor Menderes Türel told private broadcaster CNN Türk that the explosion might have been an accident as no one was in critical condition.
Meanwhile, Antalya Chamber of Trade and Industry head Davut Çetin told the broadcaster that there were no casualties in the explosion.
Çetin added that the incident might have been caused by the explosion of a vehicle with an LPG system.
There were also four other vehicles and buildings that had experienced damage in the vicinity, he said.
