The alleged Noah’s Ark had nearly all major TV channels and websites writing of it’s discovery and some even saying, it is one of the greatest discovery by man if proven.

Despite the team consisting of Chinese Evangelical Christian researchers and Turkish explorers, bringing specimens consisting of ropes, nails and pieces of wood from the Ark experts and the public were spectacle of the finding as not enough images or a video of the exploration were produced.

However recently a Video has been posted on News Channels and popular video sharing websites of the exploration at mount Ararat (Agri Mountain) which was released by the Noah’s Ark Ministries International.

The specimens which were brought back from the alleged wresting spot of the Ark had already been carbon dated to 4,800 years ago which had put hopes up that the finding was indeed the famous Ark which has great religious significance.

The new video according to some experts is just a way for the team to prove that they were not hoaxing the finding as so many people had believed.

The video posted by the explorers is also allegedly the third time the team have actually been to the site which they are keeping the location as a secret. The team have said that they had initially found the site in 2007, returned back to it in 2008, and then returned to the site once more in October 2009 but this time with a film crew.

Panda Lee a member of the Noah’s Ark Ministries International spoke of the 2008 visit and said “I saw a structure built with plank-like timber, each plank was about eight inches wide. I could see tenons, proof of ancient construction predating the use of metal nails,”

“I could see broken wood fragments embedded in a glacier, and some 20 metres long. I surveyed the landscape and found that the wooden structure was permanently covered by ice and volcanic rocks.”

Some experts also said that the finding was probably that of a human settlement and though it is a significant find, it is not the remains of the famous Ark. This thought was fiercely denied by the explorers and said “we have never found a human settlement above 3,500 meters in the history of mankind, the Ark was at 4,000 meters”.

But despite all the rumours and questions surrounding the find, religious websites were quick to react to the finding, and haled it a miracle.

The find has also left the Turkish government buzzing, with tourism already on the up due to the publicity the country has received by the alleged finding. The Turkish government is already applying for a UNESCO World Heritage site for the find. It was also announced that a major archaeological dig will be carried out at mount Ararat.

According to religious faiths including Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and many other, Noah was ordered by God to build a ship to house his family, himself and the world’s animals from a huge flood which was to perish earth. It is then believed that when the waters receded, the Ark rested at a mountain.

Man-fai Yuen, who is one of the researchers, said “The structure is partitioned into different spaces, we believe that the wooden structure we entered is the same structure recorded in historical accounts and the same ancient boat indicated by the locals.”

However Dr. Randall Price, a former member of the group who found the alleged Ark has cast great doubt on the finding. Dr. Price said “If the world wants to think this is a wonderful discovery, that’s fine. My problem is that, in the end, proper analysis may show this to be a hoax and negatively reflect how gullible Christians can be,”

Turkish website however, have hailed the finding as a great hoax as, an image of the alleged Ark has a spider web on it which scientists say is impossible as spiders cannot live in those temperatures and altitude.

  1. The hoax theory must be upheld just like any other. To keep their find a secret for two years does not validate a hoax theory, neither does finding scientifically unapproved life, materials, or artefacts at great altitudes warrant a hoax claim be true. So far these explorers are standing by their story. We must give space for them to prove to the world that they have made a noteworthy find.

  2. all that is going on now shows the limitation of human , believe or not, it doesn’t matter cause if we searh for other findings on the net, we can see another finding with plenty of evidences more than a decade ago. what do we see here, confusion? to people who believe in God, you have experienced Him in your heart and you dont need physical proofs that are confusing. pls refer to Bible for what Jesus thought about miracles

  3. though, it could be a hoax, i think we should keep our minds open, it may not be a hoax and everyone who says it is a hoax with have there bubles poped and they will look like complete idiots. im not saying that anyone who says its a hoax is stupid or anything im just saying not to jump to conclusions on things. it may turn out to be true.

  4. I also don’t see why a web would make it a hoax. You must be afraid of the Lord to not believe. He does amazing things. Just because HE doesn’t wait on humans hand and foot does not mean HE doesn’t exsist. You have to be pretty pathetic to think this is a hoax. Honestly its 4000 metres ! How could someone hoax that. Thank you Lord for letting this be discovered. Now please protect it for humanity. I really do hope its not made a tourist place because people are aweful and will prolly vandalise it.

  5. The discovery is fantastic but the question is — how can we prove that this is Noah’s ark or something belonged to the ancient communities resided there. Am worried of the way currently religions look for things that draw people’s attention as the way the business companies do–so it had to believe on their claims sometimes

  6. If (big IF) the photo is really from the newly discovered site, there might be another explanation. Perhaps there were spiders on the ark, and that web has been preserved by the cold temperatures and remote environment just like the spider left it. There’s obviously not been anything there to disturb it, so why couldn’t it be preserved just like anything else?

  7. Where did the photo with the spiderweb come from? I have been to the actual Chinese website and did not see that as one of the photos released and there is nothing that looks like that photo in any of the video footage. Is the Turkish website using a hoax to show a hoax?

  8. “Turkish website however, have hailed the finding as a great hoax as, an image of the alleged Ark has a spider web on it which scientists say is impossible as spiders cannot live in those temperatures and altitude.”

Even this statement of faith by Turkish Media may proof to be folly upon themselves! There is a lot world we do not know about animals. There are documented cases of recently discovered new birds/insects found at great altitudes in high mountain areas. Granted, its tropical.

The fact that there is a spiders web is proof of life in impossible conditions.
