Ex-NFL star Marion Barber is dead

Former NFL star Marion Barber is dead, his longtime team, the Dallas Cowboys, announced in a statement. According to police, the former running back was found lifeless in his apartment in Fresno, California. A cause of death has not yet been determined. Barber was 38 years old.
Barber recognized as an Allstar in 2007
“Our hearts are broken following this tragic news,” the Dallas Cowboys statement said. “Marion was an old-school running back who ran head first and showed every play a will to win.”
Barber played for the five-time Super Bowl champion from Texas from 2005 to 2010, ending his career in 2011 with the Chicago Bears. In his six-year professional career, the 1.80 meter tall model athlete achieved 53 touchdowns. In 2007, he was recognized for his outstanding performance by being invited to the NFL’s all-star game, the Pro Bowl.
