Edward recognized by World Book of Records as World’s shortest person
Standing at just 27 inches (70 CM), Edward Nino Hernandez, is the new record holder for the world’s shortest adult.
The 24-year-old was discovered recently in Colombia where the Guinness Book of World Records certified the little man as the world’s shortest.
The young Adult has all the dreams of a normal person and does not let his size stop him from dreaming or indeed making his dreams come true.
Edward has dreams of owning a Mercedes, wants to travel the world, totally adores dancing and would love to meet with stars such as Sylvester Stallone, Jackie Chan and Alvaro Uribe, former Colombian President.
One of five children, Edward has not grown since the age of two according to his mother. Edwards’s mother continued saying doctors could determine why he would not grow as he looked healthy.
Though Edward is recognized as the shortest person in the world, this may last a short period of time as a teenager from Nepal’s, Khagendra Thapa Magar, is said to replace Edward as the new world record holder.
Magar is already recognized as the shortest teenager in the world by the Guinness Book of World Records at just 22 inches (56 CM).
Magar’s 18th birthday is on 18th October and the 17-year-old is certainly expected to stay as the record holder for a long time yet.
Edward took the World record from Pingping of China who stood at 74 CM and sadly dies in March 2010.
