London / NationalTurk – The 21-year-old Belgian super talent is one of the hottest transfer assets in Europe having numerous admirers in Europe, with top-flight clubs like Real Madrid, Arsenal and Chelsea reportedly havign shown interest to land the Lille star.
The midfielder/winger does not deny that his heart is set on a transfer to the Premier League this summer and it seems like he already decided White Hart Lane of the London side, Tottenham will be the pitch he wants to show his amazing skills at.
Eden Hazard Transfer : Tottenham to land the Super- Belgian ?
Eden Hazard has not agreed terms with Tottenham in any official way, but he referred Harry Redknapp’s Tottenham as ‘ a great English club ‘ in a recent interview with Belgian TV station RTBF.
Eden Hazard : ‘ I said that I would prefer a transfer to England and there are very good players (at Spurs). I have not yet signed, though it will happen soon ‘ The 21 year-old talent package added.
“Spain suits perhaps better to my style of play but then it must be either Barcelona or Real Madrid. A transfer move to La liga seems therefore limited.”
Eden Hazard has not ruled out the possibility of joining another club other than Tottenham. But he sets his priorities for a side which will be playing in the Champions League next season.
Eden Hazard hints at Tottenham transfer
The youngster, who plays predominantly on the wing, but is also an excellent play-maker should the need arise, made his Lille debut as a 16-year-old and has gone on to become one of the French club’s most important players who led the underdogs to a French League title in the previous season.
Eden Hazard became the youngest player to win the Ligue 1 player of the year award after helping Lille complete a domestic double with League and Cup championships. He made his international debut for Belgium at the age of 17.
Reports from France and England indicate Eden Hazard has already agreed in personal terms for his transfer to Tottenham. But the €40 million fee demanded by defending Ligue 1 champions is the stumbling block ahead of his transfer for Tottenham or any other Premier League outfits.
