Two huge earthquakes have hit central Chile today, one measuring 5.1 and the other 7.2 in magnitude.

Two more earthquakes hit Chile today which demolished more buildings and roads as the devastating 8.8-magnitude earthquake which killed hundreds over a week ago.

Reports are coming in that the first lower grade earthquake had a preliminary magnitude of 5.1 which was measured by the US Geological Survey. The first earthquake managed to frighten the Chileans enough to leave their homes.

The second huge earthquake that hit the country in just over a week was measured at 7.2 magnitude.

The earthquake occurred during a presidential ceremony where officials and politicians from other countries were present.
