Dutch football legend and former Barcelona manager Johan Cruyff has been diagnosed with lung cancer.
The 68-year-old who one of the most important figures in Netherlands football Johan Cruyff was diagnosed with lung cancer diagnosis on Tuesday. Johan Cruyff is undergoing further tests to determine the extent of his condition, newspaper Mundo Deportivo and radio station RAC1 reported.
Formerly a heavy smoker, Johan Cruyff had double heart bypass surgery in 1991 while he still in charge of Barcelona.
Cruyff was a key part of the Ajax side that won three straight European Cups between 1971-73, and also the Dutch national side which reached the World Cup final in 1974.
