Duchess Meghan shines in white – and inspires with a touching gesture

After her withdrawal from the royal family, Duchess Meghan traveled to Europe with her husband Prince Harry for the first time. In The Hague, however, she was not only celebrated for her taste in fashion.

It’s been around two years since Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan turned their backs on the British royal family and moved to the United States. Since then, the native American had not returned to Europe. Now she’s celebrating her comeback: Meghan accompanies her husband to the Invictus Games in The Hague – and caused enthusiasm right from the first appearance.

The Duchess wore an all-white outfit for her first public engagement in the Netherlands on Friday. Meghan had chosen an elegant suit from Valentino to attend a reception for family members of the athletes.

The 40-year-old combined the Marlene trousers and the double-breasted oversize blazer with a white Valentino bag with golden details and matching Aquazzura stilettos. Meghan rounded off the look with gold jewelry. She wore her hair in loose waves.

Meghan gave her coat to a mother

But it wasn’t just her taste in fashion that got Prince Harry’s wife positive reactions. Meghan is celebrated on social networks for a gesture that almost went unnoticed on the sidelines of the event.

When she arrived, the 40-year-old was still wrapped in a camel-colored Max Mara coat. Photos from “Mail Online” show how she later gave the piece, which cost around 3,000 euros, to a mother so that she could use it to warm her baby. In numerous clips shared on social media, the woman with the wrapped offspring can be seen walking alongside Meghan.

In the comments on the postings, the Duchess is praised for her benevolence. “I didn’t even see the baby. At first I thought the woman was wearing Meghan’s coat. That shows once again how attentive she is” or “It’s a really touching and generous gesture” are just a few of the many appreciative contributions.

Some even likened Prince Harry’s wife to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana, for her actions. “Harry has found an amazingly caring woman. His mother would be proud,” writes a user and receives a lot of approval.
