4 Killed, Dozens Injured in Factory Blast in Ankara

At least four people were killed and dozens of others were injured in an explosion in the Turkish capital Ankara on Thursday, official said.

The blast thought to have been caused by a buildup of gas tore through a factory making generators at an industrial zone.

Up to five people were reported to be trapped under the rubble while two floors of the four-storey plant collapsed in the explosion.

Local mayor Fethi Yasar told television stations natural gas or oxygen canisters were believed to have caused the blast.
