Tottenham’s Dos Santos has officially gone on a loan spell to Turkish Giants Galatasaray till the end of the season.

The Dos Santos loan has officially been finalized with great efforts by Haldun Üstünel. Galatasaray Manager Frank Rijkaard was very happy by the loan of Dos Santos as the two have worked together at Barcelona.

The arrival of Dos Santos has already created much excitement within the Galatasaray community. Dos Santos who is known as the new Ronaldinho, is expected to land in Istanbul on Thursday at 17.30.

The 20 year old Mexican attacking midfielder has played at Barcelona and Tottenham.

The young star developed in the Mexican club Monterrey and within 1 year was transfered to the Barcelona youth team in 2002. In 2006 Dos Santos was taken to the Barcelona B team in which he scored 6 goals in 26 matches.

The player was promoted to the Barcelona A team by Frank Rijkaard in the 2007-2008 season in which he played in 28 league matches and scored a hatrick in the last game of the season.

He was transfered to Tottenham in the 2008-2009 season where he played in 7 matches. Harry Redknapp who see’s Dos Santos as a very talented player and believes he needs more experience, which is why Dos Santos is being sent to Galatasaray.
