The Honduran beauty queen María José Alvarado and her sister were shot. The alleged perpetrator was arrested – and the subject is now apparently clear.

María José Alvarado wanted to be Miss World. But a few weeks before the competition for the most beautiful woman in the world, the 19-year-old student was killed. The body of Miss Honduras was discovered along with her sister Sofia in the west of the country, confirmed the head of the investigation team, Leandro Osorio. “We can say with absolute certainty that it is the two young women.
