World Indoor Athletics Championship – Cuban Dayron Robles
Olympic Champion Dayron Robles, the Cuban athletics star stormed his way into Doha, where the World Indoor Athletics Championship will be held with an impressive performance in Lievin, France.
Olympics Champion Dayron Robles the Cuban athletics star defeated Yevgeny Borisov (7.53) and won in Lievin, France in the 60-meter hurdles when he stopped the clocks at 7.45 seconds.
Dayron Robles has been undefeated this season with victories in Dusseldorf (7.50), Stuttgart (7.48), Stockholm (7.49) and Birmingham (7.44).
Robles was hailed by the crowed when he passed the finish line in first spot, where he picked a hamstring injury last year.
After the race Robles said “I felt good, everything went fine and I’m ready for Doha even if I don’t want to talk about this right now,”
Robbles who also has the 110-meter hurdles record under his belt beat Borisov by 0.08 seconds, while Igor Permota of Russia finished third in 7.67 seconds.

[media id=148 width=610 height=340]The win came as a massive moral boost for Robbles before this weekends World Indoor Athletics Championship in Doha.
Cuban athletics star Robles, born on November 16, 1986 in Guantanamo, Cuba is one Cuba’s and Latin America’s greatest hopes in Doha this weekend.
The World Indoor Athletics Championships will be held in Doha on March 12, 13 and 14, in association with Aviva.
