Chinese video game targets US soldiers
It is a first-person shooter just like the well-known “Call of Duty” or ”Medal of Honor” games, but chinese video game “Glorious Mission” differs on one certain aspect – this time the enemy is American troops and army.
The game is developed and designed by Giant Network Technology and supported by China’s People’s Liberation Army and it is highly parallel to other first-person shooter games. Players start with basic training, take part in missions and complete objectives.
Glorious Mission the enemy this time is Us Army
Unlike most games however the enemy is not Middle Eastern, Paki, Arabian, Russian, South American or Asian – It’s American; footages from the videogame show shooting down of US aircrafts, choppers and killing of US troops and targeting of American military.
Such violent FPS games seem to increase stirring controversy. In 2010, after Call of Duty Black Ops was released, Cuban officials were apparently outraged at the sequence in which players killed Fidel Castro. The first American troops killing Glorious Mission ‘s release date will be announced soon.
