Chelsea are through to the semi-final of the FA Cup after securing a 1-0 victory over Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.
Demba Ba scored the only goal of the game with 49 minutes gone after an exquisite finish following a Juan Mata assist.
Javier Hernandez had the best chance to equalise for the away side, but saw his header spectacularly saved by Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech.
Substitute Robin van Persie spurned a glorious chance to draw United level in the closing stages but his effort from six yards went high and wide.
The Blues will now face Manchester City at Wembley for a place in this season’s final.

It was an understandably cagey start between two teams vastly changed from their previous Premier League matches just 48 hours earlier.
The match opened up as United searched for a leveller but Chelsea held on to move a step closer to a fifth FA Cup final in the last seven seasons.
The Blues battled back from a two-goal deficit to draw 2-2 in the original tie at Old Trafford on 10 March. Rafael Benitez’s team will face City at Wembley on Sunday 14 April.
