Chiarello became internationally known, among other things, through his participation in the cooking format “Top Chef” and the spin-off “Top Chef Masters”. He received a total of three Emmy Awards in 2003 and 2006 for his own cooking show “Easy Entertaining with Michael Chiarello”. The chef was famous for his Italian-influenced Southern California cuisine.
