Campaign against Romanians and Bulgarians: Cameron wants to “remove” unemployed EU nationals / UK News

UK-Wants-Remove-Unemployed-EU-Nationals

For sharp rhetoric against undesirable aliens David Cameron is known. In an article for the “Financial Times” British Prime Minister announces now to grant immigrants from the EU three months no benefits. Who after nine months without a job, would “walk”.

Britain’s Prime Minister David Cameron wants to restrict access to the British social system for EU foreigners massively. Newcomers to the first three months of welfare benefits can avail if they have no work. The Cameron wrote in a commentary for the “Financial Times”.

After maximum of six months unemployment benefits should be possible unless there is at least the prospect of a job. “If people are not here to work – if they beg or sleep outdoors – then they are removed,” reads literally in the text Cameron. He says in his contribution explicitly Romanians and Bulgarians, who are to enjoy from 2014 full free movement of workers in the UK.

British Prime Minister wants to tighten the criteria that must be met immigrants to apply for social security benefits. Such controls are in place already. At the European Court of Justice is therefore already a lawsuit for discrimination between British and non-British pending.

EU Social Affairs Commissioner László Andor gave Cameron the right to lead the public with his statements misleading. Romanians or Bulgarians were among migrants to the UK only a small minority, Andor said in an interview with the BBC. By Cameron’s rhetoric Britain risked being seen as “treacherous country.”
