While they both may have ended up as Calzaghe’s victims, Jones and Hopkins still remain two of the biggest names in world boxing.
They may not be in their prime, but, now the rematch people have been talking about for years has finally been made, they are sure to take their place in the limelight again.
Jones may have emerged victorious when they first met in 1993, but, after recent victories over Kelly Pavlik and Enrique Ornelas, Bernard Hopkins will be the favourite when they meet in Las Vegas on April 17.
Either way, though, as he watches on from the comfort of retirement, Calzaghe will be safe in knowledge that neither one could beat him.
