Borussia Dortmund have moved top of the table in the Bundesliga with a game in hand after Turkish International Nuri Şahin’s stoppage time winner against Cologne.

However more than the score line and the dramatic last minute goal, it was the antics of German international Podolski which hit the headlines.

Borussia Dortmund had gone into the lead in the 20th minute after Blaszczykowski put the ball in the back of the net with a header.

Both sides had their fear chances on goal and the game was turning out to be one of much excitement until the 82nd minute when German International Podolski equalized after a stunning 30 yard shot.

However, the beauty of the goal was marred by the 25-year-old actions after he walked up to Turkish international Nuri Şahin and made remarks with his fingers showing a three and a 0, apparently trying to remind Şahin of Germany’s 3-0 victory against Turkey during the weekend.

The 25-year-old Cologne midfielder made several remarks before Dortmund players had to distance Podolski who is of Polish descent away from the 22-year-old Turkish international.

The game continued and both sides were constantly on the attack until the 91st minute when Nuri Şahin scored Dortmund’s second goal of the match from 12 yards and make it 2-1.

Nuri Şahin who was swamped by his team mates managed to save himself from his team mates and ran in front of Podolski and slid across the player in joy to return the favor.
