The decision, dated 26 July 2022, was announced in the Official Gazette published today with the words “Decision on Providing Visa Exemption for Touristic Travels and Transit Passes of the Citizens of the Republic of Bulgaria with a Maximum of 90 Days of Residence in Every 180 Days to Turkey”.
Accordingly, Bulgarian citizens will be able to enter Turkey by only showing their identity card, on the condition that it is limited to 90 days in every 180 days.
Turkish citizens, on the other hand, need a visa to enter the neighboring country of Bulgaria.
