Bruce Willis’ daughter makes her own diagnosis public

Tallulah Willis has already spoken publicly about her father's dementia. Now the 30-year-old herself has received a life-changing diagnosis.

About two years ago, Bruce Willis’ family made it public that the actor had been diagnosed with aphasia, which affects his cognitive abilities.

A little later it became known: the exact diagnosis was frontotemporal dementia. The former action star ended his career due to his illness.

Since then, the 69-year-old’s appearances have only taken place via social media. There, his wife Emma Heming-Willis, his ex-wife Demi Moore and their daughters often provide insights into the Hollywood star’s current life. Tallulah Willis has also spoken publicly about her father’s illness several times in recent years.

Tallulah Willis has autism

Now the 30-year-old is speaking out with news about herself. Tallulah was diagnosed with autism. She made the diagnosis public with a video on Instagram.

The photos show her as a child with her father on the red carpet of an event. While Bruce Willis is giving an interview, his daughter keeps stroking his head with concentration.

“Tell me you’re autistic without telling me you’re autistic,” Tallulah captioned the clip. In the comments, a follower asked the 30-year-old whether she was diagnosed as a child. “I found out this summer and it changed my life,” Tallulah replies. It is the first time that she has spoken publicly about her diagnosis. The celebrity daughter has already dealt openly with mental and physical illnesses in the past, reporting on her eating disorder, drug addiction and depression.

Tallulah is the youngest daughter from Bruce Willis and Demi Moore. The two were married from 1987 to 2000 and still have daughters Rumer and Scout together. The Hollywood star has been married to model Emma Heming-Willis since 2009 and has daughters Mabel and Evelyn, born in 2012 and 2014.
