Blasts Kill 20, Injured 79 in Kirkuk
A number of 20 people were killed and 79 more injured in three separate bomb blasts in northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk on Thursday morning.
According police explanations, 20 people lost their life and 79 people were injured in synchronous blasts, which targeted Kirkuk Police Directorate.
Terrible attacks, directed against police station, in the early hours of Thursday, claimed mainly police 20 lives. First explosion happened in a child par near the police department. Another bomb blasted in front of a shopping center near the some police station. Third bomb, which placed in a car exploded with a terrible noise.
A total of 20 many of them police officer were killed and 79 people were injured. Large-scale security measures were taken in the event.
Officials said that terrorists trying to instigate ethnic hatred between ethnic groups. They also realized people against the provocations.
