Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s daughter sparks excitement
Rapper Jay-Z attended a basketball game with his daughter. The pictures quickly caused a stir on the Internet – because the resemblance of the ten-year-old to her famous parents cannot be overlooked.
The final of the basketball league NBA is currently taking place in America. Rapper Jay-Z and daughter Blue Ivy also didn’t want to miss the spectacle and attended one of the maximum seven games between the Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics. However, many Twitter users quickly lost interest in what was happening on the pitch. They had recognized in Blue Ivy the spitting image of their famous mother, the singer Beyoncé.
A picture of Beyoncé from 2007 quickly made the rounds, showing her in a similar pose to her daughter at the NBA Finals. Fans clipped the two images side by side and were amazed at the resemblance. “Beyoncé really copied and pasted her look on Blue Ivy,” writes one user.

However, other users also wanted to recognize a certain resemblance to father Jay-Z. “Blue Ivy is her father’s twin,” writes one user. “Beyoncé just threw in a little bit of her DNA and declared her job done,” she continued. Still others see a resemblance to both. “Blue Ivy is an equal copy of both,” says one user.
As the internet debated which parent the 10-year-old looks more like, Jay-Z used the public appearance to embarrass his daughter like a normal father. He put his arm around her and gave her a kiss on the cheek. This met with little approval at Blue Ivy. She was more worried about her hairstyle. “Dad, my hair!” You can read on her lips during the scene.

This moment did not go unnoticed on Twitter either. “For us: Jay-Z, the rap legend. For Blue Ivy: embarrassing father,” commented journalist Philip Lewis.
Blue Ivy is one of the three children of the two music stars. In 2017, Beyoncé gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl.
