Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez got married
They wanted to walk down the aisle before, but their love fell apart.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have now tied the knot.
Exactly 20 years after he first proposed to her, Ben Affleck took a knee in front of Jennifer Lopez again in April. Last year, the actor and the singer, whose first relationship broke up in 2004 before the wedding, celebrated their love comeback. And this time they probably didn’t want to lose any time before walking down the aisle.
Because the two have now married in the casino city of Las Vegas in the US state of Nevada. “We Did It,” Lopez announced in a circular Sunday afternoon. In a small wedding chapel, they said yes shortly after midnight. In photos and in short videos, the bride and groom are dressed in white.
Lopez posted a link to her On the JLo newsletter on her social media. She signed her message with the name Jennifer Lynn Affleck.
Small ceremony in Las Vegas
The American “People” magazine claims to have learned from those close to the stars that the ceremony was “super, super small”. “Jennifer’s mom and kids were there. They just wanted to be married, so they got married,” said an unidentified source of the celebrity couple.
This is Jennifer Lopez’s fourth marriage. She was married to waiter Ojani Noa for a year in the late ’90s and to dancer Cris Judd between 2001 and 2003. After the failed first relationship with Affleck, she gave the yes word to singer Marc Anthony in 2004. The marriage lasted ten years and produced twins Emme and Max, who are now 14.
Ben Affleck was married to fellow actress Jennifer Garner from 2005 to 2018. The former couple have three children: 16-year-old Violet, Seraphina, three years her junior, and son Samuel, who was born in 201.
