Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev started his official visit to Ukraine on Thursday, with talks on energy, trade and industry on agenda.
Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich welcomed Aliyev with a formal ceremony at the Presidential Palace in Kiev.
Talks on energy, commercial ties and industry top the agenda of the meeting between the two leaders.
During his visit, Aliyev is also scheduled to meet Prime Minister Nikolay Azarov and Parliament Speaker Vladimir Litvin.
