Arsenal must win, Wenger

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is only thinking about the game against Wolves on Saturday and said Arsenal must win.

The Arsenal Watford game has extra importance because both 1st place Chelsea and 2nd place Manchester Utd will face each other on Sunday with Arsenal having an extra game in hand over both teams. Wenger knows that a win at Wolves will make Arsenal be in the best position before the international break.

The Gunners who are scoring left, right and centre are in great form as they beat AZ Alkmaar 4-1 and took their unbeaten run to 12 matches in all competitions they are competing in and they know Arsenal must win.

Wenger knows how important it is not to get too compelled as a win on Saturday will put Arsenal in second place temporarily for the least as Man Utd will play against Chelsea on Sunday.

Wenger had these words to say “You know that a successful season is, to grab opportunities when you have it. We have a good opportunity to gain some ground on one of the two teams. That is what we will try to do. I am focused on us winning the game, afterwards I will take any result at Stamford Bridge.”
