German wonderkid Julian Draxler is on Transfer radar both English Premier League giants  Manchester United and Arsenal.

The young German wunderkind has been linked many, many, many times with a move to Arsenal over the past six months.

But according to football pundit Jan Aage Fjortoft, Schalke claim that they have not received an offer for Julian Draxler.

He also claims that Draxler has been injured in training, but should be back to full fitness in 10 days.

Manchester United have also expressed an interest in the German international, who made it clear earlier this year that his goal was to play for the biggest clubs in the world.

He said: “I’m telling you honestly that my dream is to play for one of the big clubs at some point.

“If you want to achieve the big goals, which every world class player has, you have to play at the biggest clubs.

“These are Real, Barca, [Manchester] United, Arsenal and Chelsea.”

Draxler, who has four-years left on his current contract, has a £40m buy-out clause inserted into that deal and Schalke are expected to still command a large fee to allow their young star to leave.

According to a report in the “Daily Mirror” Arsenal has a strong interest in signing the midfielder. According to Arsenal manager Arsène Wenger’s 20-year-olds want to bring in the summer at the latest. At FC Schalke Draxler has a contract until 30 Juni 2018. It should include an exit clause in the amount of 45 million euros. At Sky Sport News HD Schalke manager Horst Heldt said: “There are currently no offers.”
