Anti- Government Protest Spreads in Yemen

Thousands of students protested government in Yemeni capital of Sana on Sunday.

Requesting the steps down of the Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh, Nearly 3000 students gathered in Sana University. They chanted as “Ali Get out for the sake of next generation”. The students carried placard that read similar slogans.

Meanwhile Tension in the clashes, which has been continuing 12 day between people and security forces, is rising. Clashes left many people injured and 7 people died. Protests were spin out of control after Southern Action Leader Hasan Baum’s arresting by the Yemeni security forces.
