London / NationalTurk – After Amy Winehouse passed away last July, thousands of mourning Amy Winehouse fans flocked to the three-bedroom villa in London’s Camden Square and transformed the front of the residence where into a Amy Whinhouse shrine. However, it’s June 2012 and the decaesed star, Amy Winehouse’s London home has been put up for sale for £2.7 million (€3.3m) by her family’s request.
Almost a year passed following the tragedy and the singer’s parents have decided to place the house on the market for 2.7 million pounds stating it would be inappropriate for any members of Winehouse family to move into Amy’s home, where she had taken her final breath.

Rumours were afloat as the 3 store villa in prominent Camden Square, north-west London, could be turned into Amy Winehouse Foundation Charity headquarters.
The Winehouse family spokesman told NationalTurk London: ‘ The Winehouses have been chewing on to put the house, where her daughter Amy has died on the market. Today with great regret they have decided to put up the home Amy Winehouse loved keenly for sale.
Not a member of Winehouse family felt it appropriate that they should live in it. It was not practical to keep it empty while paying for its upkeep. It is a wonderful place and will be a happy family home for someone, they hope with all their heart.’

Mitch Winehouse, who bought the lovely place with daughter Amy for £1.8m in April 2010, claims it’s ‘with regret’ that it’s gone up for sale.
‘Amy and I both worked on the house and she loved it so much. I hope a lovely family buys it as it is so full of love and spirit of Amy.’
The Winehouse property in West London is listed online as a ‘ substantial and impressive three double bedroom, three reception room semi-detached period villa with well-proportioned private front and rear gardens.’

The Winehouse villa has changed hands once in more than 40 years and had undergone major structural and cosmetic refurbishment, online estate network House Network reports.
