American Idol Top 9 – Michael Lynch aka Big Mike voted of American Idol top 9 until judges use their controversial save option to keep him on the show.

There was a huge surprise or surprises on Wednesday nights American Idol contest with Micheal Lynch getting the fewest votes by the American audiences. Shame on us all.

How could the cuddly, funny and caring (ok he did miss the birth of his first child to be on the show) and most importantly great singing Michael Lynch get voted off the American Idol Top 9 show, I have no idea but I am so glad the Judges used the save option. After all it was him or Andrew Garcia, and I just do not see Garcia getting the judges save.

Rihanna performed her new single Rockstar 101 and promote her upcoming tour which takes place this summer and it was fare to say, she blew the roof with her eather catsuit.

Either way it was Big Mike, Andrew Garcia and Aaron Kelly were in the bottom three on this weeks show which was a surprise as all three contestants had been in the bottom three for the first time since the American Idol Finals started.

I would just like to add that this was totally unfair, Big Mike definitely did not deserve to be in the bottom three let alone bottom. Andrew Garcia again probably arguable but Tim Urban should have been there and out. Well we always have next week to hope and pray he is voted off.

Aaron Kelly soon got the thumbs up by Ryan Seacrest, after the 17-year-old who’s birthday was last week was able to get out of the red.

It was then up to Michael Lynch and Andrew Garcia who are both good friends behind the scenes and on to wait for those magical words by the programs host Seacrest.

Finally it was announced that Garcia had made it through and Lynch who is liked by most of the judges, well only Simon shows no emotion. Ryan Seacrest tried to be calm but deep down I new he was upset as the charismatic presenter had even come face to face “literally” with Simon Cowell over Big Mike.

However the judges unanimously chose to save the Big man with crowds chanting his name and all the judges so visibly happy with their choice. So was I.

According to insiders, Crystal Bowersox was considerably happy and hugged the big man with big personality. It was fair to say even Andrew Garcia was extremely upset that Michael Lynch was voted of the show even though he was in the bottom two.

Either way next week we will see more drama as two idol hopefuls will be voted of America’s most watched program and guess who’s the special guest mentor? ADAM LAMBERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
