Amazon to hire 1000 people in Turkey

Amazon announced that it will establish a logistics base in Turkey with an investment of over 100 million dollars, and that it plans to create more than 1000 jobs in a year with the base.

In the statement made by Amazon, it was stated that the first logistics base to be established by the company in Turkey will be put into service in Tuzla, Istanbul in the fall of 2022.

The company aims to support both domestic and export operations of its sales partners and SMEs with its logistics base.

In the statement, it was stated that the recruitment processes for the center functions such as engineering, human resources, accounting, operations and information processing for the logistics base were started, while the recruitment processes for the customer services and logistics teams will begin in the coming months.

According to the information in the statement, Amazon has created employment for more than 500 people in Turkey so far.
