After Charlène’s return: Prince Albert appears with the twins
Princess Charlene is back in Monaco. The 44-year-old has not yet appeared in public. But her husband and their two children made up for it. Jacques and Gabriella wowed everyone on St. Patrick’s Day in a matching look.
In November 2021, Charlène of Monaco went to Switzerland for treatment for “exhaustion, both emotional and physical”. After four months in a clinic, the princess returned to her family last week. The palace confirmed this to “People” magazine on Saturday.
The statement also said that the 44-year-old should fully recover in the next few weeks. She will then “gradually” take over her official duties again. Charlene of Monaco has not yet been seen in public, but her twins have.
Jacques and Gabriella in a matching look
On the occasion of St. Patrick’s Day, Prince Albert visited the Princess Grace Irish Library in Monaco. There the royal listened to a concert given by the students of the Académie de Musique. The 64-year-old was accompanied by his children Jacques and Gabriella, as can be seen in two snapshots posted on Instagram.
For the concert in the library, the twins dressed in bright green – in keeping with Ireland’s national day. Seven-year-old Jacques wore a green polo shirt, and his sister wore a dress of the same shade. However, the two did not make a happy impression.
But what is St. Patrick’s Day anyway? Traditionally, the Irish celebrate their national saint and patron saint, St. Patrick, on March 17th.
He was involved in spreading the Christian faith in Ireland in the 5th century. March 17th is the anniversary of the death of the Holy Priest.
