Officials at the Wandsworth Council have warned people that they could face prosecution if they took part in the event which is trying to increase their numbers via Facbook.
There are currently 90 members at the group but officials are trying to prevent scenes similar to what happened in Hyde Park during the weekend.
An estimated 1500 people had turned up for a water fight event in Hyde Park which was again organized via a Facebook group.
Three people were arrested on Sunday, where the participants of the event had sprayed water on the police who came to stop the group in Hyde Park.
Major traffic disruptions were also caused after Oxford Street was closed to traffic on Sunday for at least an hour.
One man in particular has been a YouTube hit after he was seen fighting a police officer before being arrested.
Officials have said that, police officers with dogs will patrol the park and entrances, and will stop suspects. Officials have also said that culprits could face a £200 fine.
A similar water fight event in 2008 had led to nine arrests and several incidents after youths carrying knifes were spotted and several pedestrians were mugged in Hyde Park.
