In 2001, tennis star Anna Kournikova starred in the music video for Enrique Iglesias’ hit “Escape” – and fell in love with the singer. The two have been a couple for more than 20 years and have managed to keep their relationship mostly out of the public eye for just as long. It is not known whether they are married. And the native Russian also managed to keep her pregnancies almost completely secret.
The couple caused a surprise at the end of 2017 when it was announced that they had quietly and secretly become parents to twins Lucy and Nicholas. In January 2020 followed with daughter Mary child number three.
Family idyll with kids and dog
The couple’s fans can always catch a glimpse of the offspring on social media, but now the 40-year-old ex-professional athlete surprises with a family picture.
The snapshot shows Anna and Enrique together with their three kids in the garden. The twins sit on mom’s lap while baby Mary sits on dad’s shoulders. The dog in the background completes the family idyll. The reason for the post: the singer’s 47th birthday. “Happy birthday to the greatest dad! We love you more than anything,” reads the caption.
The fans are happy about the rare private insight. In addition to the countless congratulations to the birthday child, the happy comments lined up. “Finally a family photo, how nice” or “Such a sweet family” are just some of the enthusiastic posts from the followers.
