Czechsia: A child died in truck races. He ran onto the track

A child died today in Černuce in the Kladno region during truck races in the field.

The police are finding out how the track was secured and all the other circumstances of the tragedy, its spokeswoman Barbora Schneeweissová told ČTK.

Today and on Sunday, the Czech Truck Championship in extreme terrain, the so-called Truck Trial, takes place in the sand pit in Černuce. Race director Bohumil Báša told ČTK that the race was closed for today, information about a possible continuation on Sunday will be known later. He did not comment on the circumstances of the disaster.

Extreme terrain truck races have been held regularly in Černuc for many years.
