In retrospect, Sandra Bullock looks back on one of her roles with regret. If she could, she probably wouldn’t accept it again – and also explains why that is the case.
Oscar winner Sandra Bullock is still uncomfortable with her role in the film “Speed 2”. “It’s one I wish I hadn’t made, and no fans I know of have ever made friends with it,” the 57-year-old told TooFab.
“I’m still ashamed,” Bullock added. Because: The film just doesn’t make sense: “A slow boat that is slowly driving towards an island.”
The journalist who asked the question about an embarrassing project then emphasized that he liked the action flick. So Bullock jokingly asked him, “Have you been high?” No, he was twelve years old, he replied.
“Speed 2” earned a “Worst Actress” nomination
“Speed 2” from 1997 is the sequel to the blockbuster “Speed”, which had celebrated great success three years earlier. Keanu Reeves, who starred alongside Bullock in the previous film, was not involved.
“Speed 2” received the Hollywood “Golden Raspberry” award for “worst sequel” and Bullock received a nomination for “worst leading actress”.
In one month, on April 21, 2022, Bullock’s new film “The Lost City” will be released in cinemas. In it she stars alongside Channing Tatum.
Stars like Daniel Radcliffe and Brad Pitt can also be seen in the action comedy. The strip premiered in Los Angeles on Monday night.
