Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher raised over $30 million for Ukraine. The country’s president is grateful. Now he has published pictures showing him on the phone with the stars.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Mila Kunis and her husband Ashton Kutcher for their support. “Impressed by their determination. They inspire the world,” wrote the 44-year-old on Twitter and on his Instagram channel on Sunday. In addition, Selenskyj posted a photo showing a video call with him and the actor couple.
Kunis and Kutcher sit in front of the computer in casual clothes and smile at the camera. Selenskyj can also be seen in his casual look, which has long since become iconic, but is apparently in an office room at a desk during the video switch.
In an official statement on Monday, he described Mila Kunis and her husband as a “celebrity couple” and expressed his pride that they believed in his country’s future. “They help IDPs by raising funds. In early March, Kunis and Kutcher called for donations for humanitarian aid in Ukraine.
