Srinagar, June 2: Senior separatist Kashmiri leader Syed Ali Geelani Wednesday condemned the Israeli aggression on board the Mavi Marmara carrying aid for the besieged Palestinians.

Israeli commandos had raided the Mavi Marmara aid boat in international waters on Monday, killing upto 19 persons.
Syed Ali Geelani termed Israeli army commandos action as “state terrorism”. “The attack on the aid workers demonstrates the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian Muslims,” he said adding more than 15 hundred thousand Gazans have been taken hostage by the Israeli soldiers.
Taking a dig at Muslim countries, he said, “It’s very unfortunate that the Muslim neighbors of Palestine are acting as mute spectators and are doing nothing to force Israel to end the blockade of Palestinians.”
“Israel is resorting to ‘state terrorism’ because it enjoys unaccountable support from United States. US is providing funds and weapons to Israel to kill the Palestinians. They’re making every effort to defame Muslims and Islam,” Geelani said.
The Israeli operation has prompted global outrage. Nicaragua became the first country to suspend diplomatic relations with Israel over the incident.
“The Muslim countries should suspend ties with Israel and provide relief and assistance to the Palestinians,” most of the people feel in Kashmir. They have welcomed Turkey’s stand and urge the country to suspend full-ties with the Zionist nation.
