Spanish football giants Real Madrid won this season’s UEFA Champions League title by beating England’s Liverpool 3-1 in the final match on Saturday.
With this victory in Kiev, Real Madrid clinched the title for the third time in a row, 13th time in history.
In 51st minute, Real Madrid took the lead when their French striker Karim Benzema took advantage of Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius’ mistake.
Four minutes later Liverpool’s Senegalese winger Sadio Mane equalized for Liverpool.
In the rest of the time, Welsh forward of Real Madrid Gareth Bale’s two goals secured the Champions League title for the Spanish heavyweights.
Meanwhile, Liverpool’s Egyptian star Mohamed Salah had to go off early as he sustained a shoulder injury after Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos’ tackle in the first half.
During the ceremony, Ramos, who is also Real Madrid captain, lifted the trophy.
