American Idol top 8 or 9 Mentor Adam Lambert – recap and prediction
American Idol – American Idol top 8 or 9 contestants, as Michael Lynch aka Big Mike was saved last week performed in the Elvis week with mix reactions from the judges while Adam Lambert, last years American Idol runner-up was the guest judge giving advice to the contestants.
Last week saw the most dramatic and shocking moment of this years American Idol when Michael Lynch had received the least votes from the American idol faithful and was going home until the judges saved the 26-year-old with their only judges save option.
Most have admitted that the save option was rightly used as Big Mike definitely did not deserve to go home last week. But Last weeks excitement will add to this weeks Idol drama with two people going home.
Now back tot he show. Adam Lambert the eccentric former American Idol contender was the guest judge this week in the Elvis week which saw some contenders shine while others just hid behind Ryan Seacrest hoping for a helping hand.
Adam promised he would give his most honest but yet again constructive criticism which he surely did.
American Idol Top 9 Performances and reviews
The usual were on top, on this week episode of the Idol, with Crystal Bowersox, Lee Dewyze and Casey James performing well and getting the good remarks the Judges.
Additional good performers were Michael Lynche and Katie Stevens
Andrew Garcia, Siobhan Magnus and Aaron Kelly were the worst performers of the night with Andrew being hammered by the judges with Randy calling it a “Not good Karaoke.”
Tim Urban which completely surprised me as he has showed great progress in the past two weeks still did not perform very good but as he is in a completely unique category then the wrest of the contestants, he probably only needs to do half of what the others do to stay in the competition which he did this week with his performance of “I Can’t Help Falling in Love”
American Idol top 9 Predictions
After last weeks shock of Big Mike getting the least votes I think it’s fair to say where at this point of the show, anything can happen. However considering the performances Andrew Garcia, Aaron Kelly and Tim Urban should be in the bottom three.
However it Is very probable that Tim Urban will not be in the bottom three for the second week in a row but Andrew Garcia I fear will get the least votes of the week along with Aaron Kelly or Siobhan Magnus.
Big Mike, showed much character after last weeks shocking save by the judges and I just do not see him being in the bottom three this week as he has been in the limelight for the entire week which will prompt viewers to vote for him.
